Solid Stamping Solid stamping is a very basic technique. It is not difficult, but might make the difference between a hobby you love, and one you give up for another. In order to ink the image, first make sure that the stamp is seasoned. When you ink your image tap tap tap it into the ink, then twist twist twist it in the ink. Finally tap tap tap it again. Look at the stamp, it should look like it is evenly inked. In order to stamp the image onto the paper, press from the middle of the stamp. Do not rock the stamp. Lift the stamp for a clear image! From
Cindy Walker: For a totally different look to the image, use a fine tipped
pen or marker to "outline" the image, and it really helps give it definition. |
