The Rubber Brayer The number one reason to own the rubber brayer is to make wonderful clear images with your largest stamps. Ink up a V size stamp by setting it rubber up on the table and rubbing ink onto the stamp. Then place your paper on top of that. Next run the rubber brayer over the top of the paper. You will get a wonderful image without standing on your stamp! I also love to put rubber bands around the rubber brayer then ink it up and run it on paper as a wonderful and interesting background. You can also use markers to decorate your rubber brayer, then run the brayer over your paper. Rub your paper with crumpled up wax paper then ink the rubber brayer and run it over the top. This makes a fun background too! There are many uses for the rubber brayer. It is definitely a must have! |
